Pratiksha Bothe

Born in 1987 in Maharashtra, Pratiksha Bothe, well versed in the study of Indian culture- its history, literature and languages- has done her PG in Indology from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune and also obtained diploma in G.D Art from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune. The ceaseless knowledge of the past and the little things in nature, the sensitivity and at the same time the strong forces in nature always amused and inspired the artist. Pratiksha has blossomed as a painter in figurative art and fills the canvas with serenity in her artworks using bright and contrasting colors in different shades to portray a perfect balance of light and shadows. By utilizing her knowledge and having an insight about the marvelous and breathtaking world of art, she has displayed these insights in her paintings creating masterpieces. Thinking that such paintings can create a ripple effect propagating the Indian heritage across the world, her source of inspiration comes from within. She has worked as a graphic designer under an advertising agency before becoming a well known artist with enormous knack for painting.
