In this triptych I have tried to reflect upon the life of a rural woman. At the both ends there is a duality of aspiration and despair. On the right end a young girl’s naive sense of desire is shown in the depiction of a materialistic indulgence .The middle canvas is the old woman wearied from life and the burdened from despair sits disconsolately and dispassionately of the material indulgence. On the other end is symbolic of her life of dedication and devotion to her family and the household.
