This is a work inspired by observation of fountains in the city of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand state of India. I have been fascinated with the sinuous movement of water gushing out of fountain hose. The sprinkling of water under pressure from a point made me think of them as tiny dots full of vibrancy, movement and dynamism. It is the image of childhood fascination with fountains seen in Jubilee Park in Jamshedpur that has inspired this work.
