Ravi’s ambition is clear in painting the true spirit of humanity. In creating his figures he lays bare the psyche of each and every individual by exteriorizing what may come across as clothes. The magical world that we not just carry within ourselves but also share with others is the marker of a true friendship. In trying to envision a space where the inhabitants are identified not by their race, religion or caste but rather their capacity to stimulate the world of imagination, the artist beckons the viewer to dive into the labyrinth of colors, shapes and patterns.
