Gaja represents the elephants in our Indian mythology. Elephants has been the source of power, wisdom and grace and it is one of the most important subjects in our religious traditions, art, and culture. My inspiration of work is the motifs beautifully engraved in historic structures, designs on traditional sareess, antique south Indian gold Jewelleries and many more. My variation of the Gaja series includes elephants represented in different styles and designs with a textured background.
