Kamdhenu is the venerated symbol of benevolence in the Hindu mythology. It is widely believed that this overseer of wealth and prosperity is also the adobe of hundreds of deities. The intricately painted representation of ‘The Golden Cow’ and Lord Ganesha residing within her justifies the glorified stature given to this maternal figure. Embellished with jewels the cow is set in contrast with the purple background with traditional golden linings which adds to the elegance of the artwork.
